It has been a week since I had 2 of my 3rd molars extracted. Since all of them (all 4 of them) are impacted, the dentist told me that they would be surgically removed. She advised that I do one side first, both teeth up and down. And so, the thing that I have been dreading and trying to avoid for almost 3 years finally caught up with me. I finally gained enough courage to schedule that 1st surgery on my left. Amazingly, all the pain i was expecting, both during and after the procedure, weren't there. Not much swelling happened, and the pain was way less than expected as I only drank 3 capsules of Ponstan for 1 day. Thanks to 4 shots of anesthesia, all the pre-surgery medications and my dentist's expertise, I only have 2 more to go! Now I ask, am I really wiser now that my so-called wisdom teeth are starting to show themselves? hehehe |
